Mango Blues A Mango Bob Adventure edition by Bill H Myers Literature Fiction eBooks

Mango Blues, the latest novel in the Mango Bob series by Bill Myers. Laugh out loud funny, filled with zany characters. A fun, feel-good read!
What do you say when the leader of the Russian mob asks you to take his unmarried daughter camping for a week?
You say “yes” and hope you make it back alive.
It won’t be easy, the daughter is the queen of the long con and has a scheme afoot to derail her father's plan. If she gets her way, there won't be any peace on Florida's Forgotten Coast.
Join Walker and his bobtail cat, Mango Bob, in another wild, fun-filled romp as they travel the backroads of Florida in their motorhome.

Another adventure with John Walker and Mango Bob as they set out again in their beloved RV. Kat, the woman he was warned to NOT get mad sets off on an assignment for her father who is pretty temperamental himself to retrieve a package. This time they pick up Devin, a "Traveler" NOT a gypsy, don't dare call her that! She's a con artist from Kat's past. Enigmatic, temperamental, lustful and not trustworthy so warns Kat. Of course Devin in secret warns Walker the same about Kat. So off we go to get this package on what starts out to be a carefully planned trip, which lasts a few hours before all plans change and change and change. Devin's Airstream Trailer holds the package. But they find the trailer has been stolen. Kat and Devin believe they know who did it but then other shady characters enter the picture. This story is one of the more complicated ones in the series. Too complicated to reveal anymore here or disappoint with any spoilers. My only critiques were that this book probably had the most typos and grammatical errors. John Walker is still too nice, exceedingly nice given the demands of these two women. And the ending was a bit of a let down. However, it's safe to say there will be a seventh in the series.Product details

Mango Blues A Mango Bob Adventure edition by Bill H Myers Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Each one of the books in the Mango Bob series keeps getting better. This is the best one yet. I love it. People are always saying that they couldn't put a book down and that description really fits this book. I had to put it down when it got late at night, but I started reading again the first thing in the morning, while the coffee was brewing.
Simple easy read. For the life of me I cannot understand why the protagonist puts up with the horrible, bossy, demanding women in these stories. I am a feminist strong-willed woman and I can't even stand these women.
Walker crossed over is this book from gullible to chump. The girls are taking advantage of him. For some reason he is letting them use him and disrespect him. Turning into a sad character. Hopefully, he can turn this around.
Bill Myers knocked one out of the park again! I couldn't put it down, and finished it in one sitting. Walker gets into another sticky situation and gets on a roller coaster ride that takes him through Florida on another adventure. Great background information on motor homes for those of us who covet that lifestyle, with some great interactions between Walker and two beautiful ladies. The players from previous books in the series stay true to their character, and Myers gives enough back story that a reader can get into the story even if this is his first venture into the series. Highly recommended!
Kinda sorta cute...was excited when I saw there was a new book..but..after reading not much anticipation for the next in series. Didnt have same punch the previous reads had, too much driving over ths bridge that road etc. But the ending surprise was "cute" after all said & done. (Other reviews a bit exaggerated). 🐱
I normally don't like to read books in series since I don't want to be obligated to have to continue, but I started this and read another 4 or 5. Then got bored with them. They are adventures and fun but I personally got sick of the main character being such a pushover for every women he encountered. It's great having a really good guy but none that I ever met would put up with all the crap he does. Plus the story's, though different got repetitious so I stopped reading them.
It's funny, like all of the earlier stories. Just don't get too hung-up on the backstories. By the time I read this, it had become apparent that no one was tracking continuity and the backstories had changed from the earlier novels. If a writer is going to explain how events from previous installments of a series they should at least keep to the original plot. It's probably only problematic if you start reading with the first book and read them one after another. If I had read them as they were published I probably wouldn't have noticed the skewing of the previous plots.
